Two senior staff members of HP New Zealand are in Samoa this week.

Carl Hansen, Technical Consultant for HP New Zealand and Suzanne Wheeler, HP Partner Business Manager, are in the country to carry out training for technicians at Samoa Stationery and Books (S.S.A.B.) who are servicing HP electronic products in the Samoan market.

The training covers the staging process, which includes the installing and setting up of new machines such as the A3 Pagewide Enterprise Multifunction.

Operating new features of new machines and new technology were also covered in the training.

Mr. Hansen said the training provides an opportunity for S.S.A.B. technicians to be educated on the correct installation process to ensure the HP machines are in good condition for customers to purchase

Held at the S.S.A.B. Megastore yesterday,  the technical service training by HP New Zealand is attended by more than ten S.S.A.B. technicians from all their stores in Upolu and Savai’i.

This is not the first time representatives from HP New Zealand are in Samoa to conduct training for technicians.

C.E.O. of S.S.A.B., Tofilau Fiti Leung Wai, said: “Our service does not end when the sale is made, our service goes beyond that simply because we care about our customers and their investments in these innovative electronic products.”

S.S.A.B is the exclusive and authorized service provider for HP New Zealand.

In conjunction with S.S.A.B., the HP New Zealand officials are also in the country for the launch of one of its cutting edge technology added to their range, which is the HP A3 page wide. The launch is scheduled to take place this morning at 10am at S.S.A.B’s Business Complex.
