Students, teachers and parents will always remember this year’s International Chefs Day.

Celebrated at Taumeasina Island Resort on Thursday, the Samoan Culinary Association (S.C.A) invited schools and some of their partners to celebrate the day based on the theme  ‘Art on a Plate.’

Students from different schools from around Upolu took part in the day’s festivities with a variety of fun activities ranging from cooking demonstrations, nutritional talks, aerobics and yoga classes plus many more.

Kids lunches were provided and sponsored by the Taumeasina Island Resort chefs and water donated by Manino Waters.

The Ministry of Health held health nutritional talks and health fun activities for the children with giveaways. The Nobesity team was also present as well as Etu of Elife and Yoga guru, Rachael Laulu.

Chefs from the Samoa Culinary Association committed their time to the children and youth by way of cooking demonstrations and talks on best healthy food and lifestyles.
