Hands down Samoa is the most beautiful of the Pacific Islands.

So insists Kym Rob while her husband Phillip nodded in agreement.

“We have been to other islands like Fiji and Rarotonga but Samoa is much more beautiful,” they said.

“Samoa is like a very big tropical garden, its very well looked after … it’s clean with lots of flowers and beautiful coloured leaves.”

Kym continued on with her praises of the lush landscape. 

“We are staying at Sinalei and they have an east coast tour where they go out to the To Sua trench and down to different swimming holes so we got to see a lot and it’s just beautiful, so lush and green.”

Telling the Samoa Observer about her experience at To Sua, Kym said she felt a little scared when descending the To Sua Trench ladder but insists she would do it all over again. 

“It’s a bit nerve racking going down but that’s all part of it because when you get back up you feel so pleased with yourself for doing it especially when you see other people not attempting to do it.”

Phillip Rob could only nod in agreement with his wife and gave us his perspective of Samoa so far. 

“The water is so warm here, you can stay in the sea for hours.  We went swimming in a waterfall at the national park here - if you did that this time of the year in New Zealand, you’d freeze to death.”

The couple raved about the Sinalei Resort where they have been staying describing their time there so far as fantastic. 

“The Sinalei resort has been great, we have gotten to know a lot of people there and the staff are great, we’ve just had a fantastic time.”

Their final thoughts on Samoa were equally complimentary. 

“Everyone is so friendly, the guide that we’ve had will tell you where you’re going and what you’re looking at. It’s just so beautiful here.”
