Think a minute…A man walked into a crowded store in a small town. It was noisy and full of people. Everybody was talking and going about their own business when suddenly a woman yelled out loudly to a man: “Hey two-timer! Did your wife finally forgive you?”
Think a minute.In June, 1969, the countries of Honduras and El Salvador declared war against each other. Until then, these two neighboring nations in Central America had been like close cousins.
Think a minute…about love. It makes the world go around, right? The problem is that there doesn’t seem to be much going around! Most of us know that to love and be loved is what life is all about.
Think a minute…How’s your eyesight and vision? A famous blind woman once said: “It’s better to be blind and see with your heart, than to have two good eyes and not see yourself as you truly are.”

Think a minute…There’s a best-selling book entitled, Do What You Love And The Money Will Follow. It explains that if you’re passionate and good at your job, then you will be happy and successful at your job.
Think a minute…Is your voice good enough to sing a solo on T.V. or radio? If you’re like me, you’ll stick to singing in the shower only! So what are you good at? And compared to whom? If golf is your sport and you can beat your buddies in a round, how good are you compared to Tiger Woods, Ernie Els, or Veejay Singh?
Think a minute…There’s a story about a little boy who had a bad temper. His father gave him a bag of nails and told him that every time he got angry and lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the fence.
Think a minute…A four-year-old girl was terribly injured in a car accident. In fact, she was losing so much blood that she was going to die unless the doctors quickly found a person with her same rare blood type who was willing to give her their blood.
Think a minute…There was a young married couple who really struggled to make enough money just to live on. One day the husband took all their money and bought a small service station.
It’s happening just about every day. Everywhere we look in the world, there is suffering, losses and unimaginable pain. There are deaths right, left and centre. Terrorism has changed the way we live and the world we live in.
Re: Study hits out at violence Really, the church obviously isn’t working - look around Samoa, people are merely hiding behind it and everyone knows it. It’s the desperation of people stressed out by all the stupid monetary customs putting pressure on the family budget.
The growing number of alcohol-related deaths is alarming. Hardly a month goes by without several incidents where precious lives are wasted due to alcohol abuse and drinking sessions gone wrong. What can we as a country do to stop these unnecessary deaths? What is your solution? Ilia L. Likou asked in today’s Street Talk and this is what people said:
