Between the Lines

STAIRS

Only in Samoa. A vehicle at the Fugalei Market decided to go down the stairs on the Saleufi side and all of this was captured in a video. Perhaps the driver was trying to avoid the police.

HEALTH ISSUES

While the opening of a new fast-food chain in a village is good for the local economy, it may not be that good for the health of its people. The next project should be a gym.

INVESTIGATION

Could it be finally that accountability and transparency are being taken seriously? The finance minister has kicked off the fastest investigation yet on record. Will there be one on his associate minister?

EXPENSIVE

The re-registration of voters looks to be an expensive affair. Hopefully, this is being aided by a development partner as donors like to be called.

WATCH ZONE

Police cannot be present everywhere to keep thieves away. Incidents have increased, a collective neighbourhood watch could do the trick. Even Superman could not be in two places at once.

WHO PAYS

More and more businesses are unhappy with their power bill. Remember all costs of the businesses are in the end borne by the consumer. Expect prices to go up.
